Presented in this listing is a spine-tinglingly sweet Alien 400% Kubrick Figure , a terrific LEGO-inspired Kubrick format interpretation of not just the classic Vintage Action Figure released in the late 70s by Kenner, but FOUR times larger than the Comic-Con exclusive regular size Kubrick that preceded it! This unique Japanese import was brought to you by the fine folks at Medicom Toy, now owned by Takara/Tomy! Accessories/Product Features A few quick notes on the item listed and why I think it's cool enough to list in my store! A small lever allows you to make the inner jaw come out of the outer jaw for great forehead chompin' action! You might not know unless you open the box, but just like the old Kenner toy, there is a cool poster based on the original Kenner poster but done in a Kubrick style. I added a photo of it here (not mine, grabbed it off the net). Outer box is cardboard, inner box is printed, just like the Kenner packaging! What is a Kubrick Anyway! Kubrick Minifigures are usually around 2.5 to 3 inches tall. They are highly addictive collectibles inspired by the Minifigures that are included with LEGO builder sets.

In addition to the 2.5in. Version, they also make a 400% version that is around 8-12 inches tall, depending on the model. This Alien is around 11 inches. Of course like many industries, the Kubrick figure spawned many imitators like MiniMates, Mez-Itz or PALz, but the Kubrick Minifigure was the first of these LEGO-inspired minifigure collectibles that endured. Item was never played with or displayed for any length of time, and it has been inspected for any damage. It's in great shape.
